Hi - I see you have looked at other threads on this topic... usually users reporting CD ripping problems (ripping is the term for copying an audio CD to your music library) do not have a rip location set in Windows Media Player (WMP). Also in Windows 10, 'Groove Music' may be set as the default player - and Groove has no CD copying option (!!)

Insert the CD into your computer. Place the audio CD that you want to rip logo side-up in your computer's CD drive. If a pop-up window appears when inserting the CD, close it before proceeding. If you're using a Mac (or a Windows computer that doesn't have a CD drive), you'll need to attach an external CD drive to your computer for this step.

To rip an Audio CD, you'll need a CD drive and a CD ripper. A CD Ripper (also known as CD grabber, or CD extractor) is software that copies and converts audio tracks from an Audio CD to a computer in standard audio file formats, such as MP3, WMA, WAV, or FLAC. What does ripping a CD mean? Ripping a CD is copying the contents of a CD to a computer.
